8th Vail Film Fest offers prime networking, premieres, and skiing

In the Spotlight this week is the 8th Annual VAIL FILM FESTIVAL (VFF), presenting a groundbreaking program of international indies against the backdrop of some of North America's most majestic winter landscapes. Rapidly emerging as an important film destination, VFF has welcomed some of Hollywood's hottest stars, producers, distributors, critics, and media, meaning prime exposure opportunities for selected films.

Past attendees have included Zach Braff, Jane Seymour, Kevin Smith, Michelle Monaghan, Adrian Grenier, Olivia Wilde, Sophia Bush, William Forsythe, Harold Ramis, Jesse Eisenberg, producers Edward Pressman, Tim Williams, Adam Kassen, and renowned film critics Owen Gleiberman (EW) and Anne Thompson (Variety). Produced by the Colorado Film Institute, VFF is committed to showcasing new and innovative films and fostering filmmaking through classes, panels and workshops. The Festival offers filmmakers four days of films, networking, parties, live music, and skiing.

MORE ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Beyond the exciting events (to which filmmakers receive all-access VIP Passes) and opportunities for exposure, VFF offers an unforgettable destination experience. So intoxicating is this blend of spectacular cinema and winter paradise that the Festival has been declared one of the "Top 10 Destination Film Festivals in the World" by MovieMaker Magazine. Exhibiting filmmakers receive discounted ski lift tickets as well as First Tracks Skiing before the mountain opens to the public.
