On behalf of the Chevrolet Social Media Team, I wanted continue to extend the invitation to your film students to submit a short film to the MOFILM Chevrolet video competition.
In the spirit of inspiring filmmakers, I’m also pleased to be able to offer you and your students the opportunity to view exclusive interviews with indie director Ed Burns, whose breakout movie, The Brothers McMullen, launched his career. Watch as he discusses the vital importance of collaborating with cast and crew, navigating the festival circuit, and passes on advice that he was given at the beginning of his career.
Feel free to embed these three interviews on your site to share with your students (embed codes below), letting them know that Chevrolet and MOFILM have teamed up to foster talent in the film community by seeking short videos that capture Chevy’s passion for the American spirit.
The winner will receive:
- A trip for 2 to NYC with 3 nights hotel accommodation
- Access to all MOFILM parties
- An exclusive screening of his or her film at the MOFILM awards
- $8,000 and other cash prizes
MOFILM will be accepting submissions until April 4. Help us spread the word so that your students won’t miss out on this great opportunity. You can find more information about the competition on Facebook at [http://on.fb.me/dV1gTD]. And to download the brief, head to [http://bit.ly/dKldfr].
I really appreciate your interest. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to contact me. Thanks!
