Slamdance Film Festival!

The Slamdance Film Festival was created in 1995 to showcase new and emerging independent artists, filmmakers and storytellers.
As we gear up for the 18th Annual Film Festival, we are proud to announce our new trailer contest with our sponsors at Good Health Natural Foods. We're asking YOU to help us create the 2012 Slamdance Film Festival Trailer. We challenge you to capture the spirit of Slamdance and the mantra we live and bleed by: "By Filmmakers, For Filmmakers". Send us your brilliant ideas. Shock us, entertain us, inspire us, make us laugh, fall in love, cry...whatever you have, we want to read it.

Submit your pitch by September 7th, 2011. The winner will be notified by October 3, 2011. The Slamdance team will choose the winning pitch and the trailer will be produced by Good Health Natural Foods (a Major Sponsor) and Shutter Blade Media. THE GRAND PRIZE - If your pitch is chosen, you will receive the following:

- The trailer will premiere at the 2012 Slamdance Film Festival Launch Party in Los Angeles. You and a guest will be invited to the
   party.
- The trailer will be featured on Slamdance.com and shown before every screening at the 2012 Slamdance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.
- You will work directly with the Slamdance team and the Slamdance Art Director to shape and develop the trailer.
- The winning entrant will receive two all-access passes to the 2012 Slamdance Film Festival.
- Your name will be credited in the trailer and the 2012 Slamdance Film Festival program guide.
- And you will receive a year’s supply of Good Health Natural Foods products!
